mike fleming warwick fretless bass ns wav-4 electric upright bass

Born at an early age, Mike has played guitar for many years but gets less confused by the four strings on a bass, so has concentrated on that for the past 25 years. He works as a computer programmer, and other interests include home computing and motorcycling. If elected Miss World, he would travel extensively and meet small furry animals.

As a challenge to his numeracy skills, he actually plays mostly 5-string basses (he leaves his 7-string at home).

His weapons of choice for ceilidhs are a 5-string Ergo Instruments electric upright bass, a 5-string Mazeti fretless bass, and an Ashbory silicone-string bass played through an Ashdown Superfly amplifier and a small PA speaker. His collection also includes fretted and fretless four-string Warwick Thumbs, several Antoniotsai basses ranging from 5 to 7 strings (he doesn't play the 7-string much but apparently it makes a good ironing board) and an NS WAV-4 electric upright bass.
