Peter

Peter has been playing the guitar on and off for about 20 years, mainly in the safety of his own home. He progressed from that on to acoustic nights at various pubs and clubs, and finally joined a proper band in 2005 - that’s the New Corona Band (yes, we really are a proper band).

He has very diverse musical tastes; although he grew up with punk, he is now a huge Johnny Cash and country fan, and likes jazz too, but finds it far too difficult to play. He works in arts and media development during the day, and has another life as a film studies tutor with the Open University at weekends.

Peter is very disciplined with his guitar collection, He only has two: a beautiful Gretsch G3100 Hawaiian 'Historic Series' Acoustic Guitar, which also sounds great and plays well, and an Indi electro acoustic for live performance.
